Sunday Stuff

I went to the gym and worked out and I LOVED it! I felt so good, and I am proud of me for doing it. I was careful about my knees but I tried everything and I could it.

I got Tip Tagged by Iportion and Living to Feel Good I figure getting tagged twice means I give you two tips. So let me think . . . . mmm . . . what tips can I think of.

I guess my first tip is to allow yourself to eat the food you love. Allow for treats and that keeps you from feeling deprived and breaking down and binging when your willpower is down.

My second is to use this change in your eating to try new things. I have been having fun trying all kinds of new healthy alternatives and it makes it fun. I have also come up with a few new favorites that I would never have thought of.

I went over my goal points yesterday. It wasn't worth it. I had an upset stomach. Ugh. I am thinking of taking the points off my other days.

Food for Sunday
  • 2 points--ww tortilla
  • 2 points--peanut butter
  • 1 point--jelly
  • 0 points--coffee
  • 2 points--ff candy
  • 2 points--egg beater omelet
  • 1 point--ww bread
  • 1 point--low fat margarine
  • 0 points--coffee
  • 3 points--beer
  • 3 points--chicken and veggies
  • 1 point--yogurt
  • 2 point--orange and apple
  • 2 points--candy
  • 2 points--fruit.

Hi,
Thanks for stopping by. I see you added me to your list. How cool is that.... thanks!! You have been doing a great job with your weight loss. Those are good tips in your post.
My back seems to be alot better today! Hope I can get some things done. Dishes are piling up and the laundry is not folding itself.
Hope your Sunday is a peaceful one.

You're absolutely right, with allowing yourself the foods you like. I wanted to introduce a "free day" for this purpose. I'm also enjoying trying out new healthy foods...my FAVOURITE...spelt...i love love love it.Come to think of it, i'll make some spelt bread today. Did you get some to try Cindy?

What are the points value of licorice? I am not into candy, but I like licorice. Just wondering.

The information I have is that licorice is 1 oz for 2 points.

I did look up some more info on-line which says that: Weight Watchers Candy Points - Candy: American Licorice Co.

Choco Sticks - Points: 3
Laces - Points: 1
Red Bites - Points: 3
Stick - Points: 1
Super Red Ropes - Points: 4
Vines - Points: 1

I just had to write and say hi, because my baby's (my cat) name is T.C.

I agree 100% with your tips. That is how I am losing it for good this time. Usually by now I would have fallen off but not this time. :-)

I also have a free day!

hugs,
April
