Mmm . . . Monday, the beginning of a new week. A fresh beginning to get things right you did wrong last week. I know that on the calendar Sunday is the beginning of the week, but to me the week will always start on Monday. I guess it is a remnant of going back to school on Monday after a weekend of fun.
And since it is Monday I figured I would post some diet tips to help us get this week off on the right start! Then maybe in your comments you can share yours. Let's help each other out in this thing.
- Eat when you are hungry.
- Eat sitting down in a calm environment. This does not include the car.
- Eat without distractions. Distractions include radio, television, newspapers, books, intense or anxiety-producing conversations, and music. (I really need to work on this one)
- Eat only what you want. (you would think that this is a given, but it really isn't)
- Eat until you are satisfied. (even when you are trying to lose weight, don't be hungry all the time)
- Eat (with the intention of being) in full view of others.
- Eat with enjoyment, pleasure, and gusto.
Food for Monday:
- 4 points--egg white omelet
- 1 point--ww bread
- 1 point--low fat margarine
- 0 points--coffee
- 4 points--chicken
- 2 point--ww bun
- 1 point--yogurt
- 1 point--orange
- 1 point--yogurt
- 2 points--granola bar
- 4 points--veggie lasagna (MM meats)
- 2 points--Smart Pop Popcorn
- 0 points--coffee
- 2 points--rice crispy square
- 0 points--diet pop
- 2 points--granola bar
- 1 point--yogurt
- 28 points--total for Monday
