- 1 lb. green beans, remove stem end
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 - 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 3 Tbsp pine nuts
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:1) Cook green beans for 2 to 3 minutes, either in a lot of salted boiling water (preferred) or in the microwave. You want them to be just barely fork-tender, but still retain their bright green color.
2) Heat oil in skillet over medium heat until hot, and sauté crushed garlic and pine nuts for about a minute, until garlic is fragrant. Add beans and toss until beans are coated.
