Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

This is the best Alfredo sauce ever. This is several recipes in combined into one. You can also add your choice of meat (chicken, shrimp or even crab.

25 min | 5 min prep

SERVES 4 -6
  • · 1/2 cup sweet butter
  • · 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • · 2 cups heavy cream
  • · 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • · 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • · 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat.
2. Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
3. Stir often.
4. Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
5. When sauce has thickened add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY.
6. I would serve it over Spaghetti Squash.

have you ever done slow cooking low carb recipes, like in one of those 8 hour crock pots ? I recently purchased a book on it and was wondering if those recipes actually tasted good in it.

Also, where do you get your recipes from ? They sound SO delish !@

I haven't tried low carb slow cooking. I do have one though and you have struck my interest. I am going to see what I can come up with!

I collect recipes from various sources and some I make up myself. I use my blog as a sort of cookbook for myself, a place to store my favorite low carb recipes that I can come back to when I am looking for something to cook. My blog is my version of that little box of recipe cards my mom used to keep on the kitchen counter.

I do want to add that I LOVE using my slow cooker! I love the way the food tastes in it. I would recommend you give some recipes out of your cookbook a shot!

Sweet butter is simply referred to as "butter". It may be sold salted or unsalted. Any butter produced with sweet rather than sour cream is known as sweet cream butter.

The Carb count is 0.06 g per 100g
