- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1 tsp Thickenthin/Not starch
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Over medium/low heat in a saucepan, melt butter. Add Thicken/Thin, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
- Remove from heat. Add cream and pepper. Return to heat and bring to a simmer, stirring often.
Makes 1 cup white sauce.
