I will admit that I hate the way my stomach looks right now, but I just keep reminding myself that I just had a baby and I have time to lose that weight.
I have to say, my meals have been quite a hit so far. Princess Belle, who is a hugely picky eater has polished off all the meals I have prepared so far. She is even preferring the vegetables to the french fries I prepare to accompany her meal (don't worry, not mine).
This is me and my little one:

Your skin looks radiant! What a lovely, cuddly little baby. Takes me back.
I found breastfeeding helped me drop the weight very quickly with my second son. Within 2 months I was into my skinny jeans and my baby, Jonathan, looked really chubby! Poor little guy, but today at 21 he is skinny with hardly an ounce extra on him. With my first (not as good at breast feeding), it took 9 months to get back my figure, even although during the pregnancy I gained much less weight than with Jon. I did not know about low-carbing back then, however, I'm sure that would have sped things up.
Such a cute little bundle. Aaawww I want it. :)
I see you're going low carb. I'm trying a mix (Somersize) where I can have good carbs once in a while. It's hard to find good vegetarian recipes that are reasonably low-fat and low carb. Maybe I'll get lucky and more people will join that band wagon with the cost of meat (and everything else!) rising.
I hoping your scale sings to you when you get a new one. Loud enough for everyone to hear what a great job you've been doing...giggle
And that is one little cutie pie you have there. Such a sweet little angel.
Hugs,
Vikki
Good job on staying the course without a scale. What a beautiful baby!!
Congratulations on your precious little one!! My youngest just turned 1 -- such a fun age -- but he's just not a "baby" anymore!! I miss it (but I'm enjoying the sleep)!!!
