196 lbs BABY!

I am down another 3 lbs!!! Woohoo! I am well into One-derland now never to see the land of 2xx lbs again! Woohoo!!! I am so happy! I realized last night that at this point I have lost 20 % of my body weight. That is incredible to me. wow!

I am heading off to the gym today to officially fill out my membership. I am excited to actually be doing this.

Since I am feeling so great, I thought I would share an inspirational Weight loss story and her tips today.
Andriette Ward, a pediatric obesity specialist at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, knows firsthand about struggling with weight: she once weighed as much as 290 pounds. Now, after years of on-again, off-again diets and rollercoaster scale readings, she's learned a few things about fostering a healthy attitude to food.

Number One: The foods I'm craving now will be available tomorrow. Pepperidge Farm and McDonald's are not going out of business anytime soon. My obsession with a particular food will eventually pass if I work through it.

Number Two: It's okay to ask for help. Sharing my vulnerabilities actually strengthens me.

Number Three: Food is just for the nourishment of my body; it will not solve anything else pressing in my life.

Number Four: Taking the time to prepare my meals in
the morning, even if it means I'll be late for work, is an expression of self-love.

    • 5 points--Tim Horton's Honey dip donut

Congrats on the loss!! WoooHOooooO! When are you going to post a new progress photo?!!

I like your tips, and don't cut out points. Those points that you follow are what your body needs. If you stick to it for a couple days you'll see the points you went over will even out. I hate when I eat something and my body is disgusted with my choice. WooHOoo again on the loss!

OH and congrats on the gym!! I'm loving it, and I hope you love it as much as I have been!
