1 cup cooked garbanzo beans -- coarsely chopped
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 stalk celery -- finely chopped
1 small onion -- finely chopped
1 clove garlic -- minced
6 whole wheat buns
1. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Form into 6 patties.
2. Fry in a non-stick pan or spray pan with non-stick cooking spray, or electric grill until lightly browned, about 3 minutes on each side.
3. Serve on whole wheat buns with condiments of your choice.
