Getting better

Feeling a lot better now. I was still sick when I woke up and I decided not to go to the gym but other than lung congestion, I am feeling a lot better right now. I think tomorrow is the day I get back into the swing of things. I hate to let it go too long, but I feel like it would be a mistake to go while I was sick.

I did sneak a peak at the scales the other day. And, the weight gain was definitely a result of being sick. All that weight i gained was gone. I am not doing my official weigh-in until Saturday but I had to peak to see if I really gained 7 lbs in one week.

I am proud that I managed to stay on plan with all the drama going on around here the last couple of days. My husbands family were all in town at the same time and when that happens drama always ensues. So there it is. It is sad though. I wish it could be different.

That really would have been scary to think you could gain 7lbs in a week. Glad it's all back to normal!

Glad you are feeling better. Wow, what a scale horror story. I know about drama whenever the family comes to town. Glad you survived.

I'm sorry you've been feeling bad. A bunch of people in my office were spreading something around, and I am grateful that it missed me because it's hard to get back in the swing of things when you're shut down like that!
